Has anyone installed lowered pegs for the passenger yet?
The pegs are too high and until I can find a solution to make Kathy comfortable... that is a show stopper!:(
I would appreciate feedback and pics!
TIA!;)

You can't handle a GT, you light-weight! :p

Actually the only time Kathy's long legs are a problem... is on the bike!:D
I have yet to see the passenger lowered pegs on the new GT.
BMW of Ventura only lends their new bikes for a 30 mile test ride, and while I am sure I will have to work the ergos for myself we already found by sitting on a GT in the showroom that Kathy is uncomfortable.
The LT is a tough act to follow when it comes to the passenger.

I was just looking at the passenger pegs, and the left one is easy enough to lower as much as one would want. But the right one is an entirely different story. :o With that phat exhaust pipe sitting there, it makes it kinda tough to find a lot of extra distance downward, unless you come out quite a bit.

Of course, another way to add distance to the passenger's foot pegs is to raise the seating position of the pillion. When ordering my Russell next week, I want to discuss this with them. I have to believe that making the rear seat an inch higher is very possible. Kinda like they did with this old-skool GT (http://www.day-long.com/Pages_12_2005/bmw_K1200GT.html).
