screen bubbles

My BMW (Garmin) GPS screen has small blister-like bubbles along the bottom. The unit is just one year old. What should I do? Are these bubbles going to spread? HELP PLEASE :eek:

Yes...the bubbles are just going to get worse until the outer layer of the screen cracks off. The good news? When it happened to mine Garmin replaced my 2610 with a new 2720.

Call Garmin and see what they'll do for you. Their customer support is second to none.

Mine started on at 4000 mile mark of a 6000 mile ride. After a while I rubbed the layer off and it was ok. Got home and called Garmin to complain (it was 8 months out of warrenty). Within 2 weeks I had a brand new 2610. Only problem I had was getting a new code for the maps, it took a couple days for them to send it to me.
