For those of you who have been on the fence Amazon.com just dropped the price of the 2820 to $551. Of course that's without the antenna/fm modulator which they're now selling for around $160 +/-. However, I think that's a great price for the unbundled 2820. I just ordered one. :~) Anyone need an SPIII?

That is a great price.
And um . . . How much for the SPIII? :)

I just bought a 2820 at Amazon yesterday, for $665, got $30 off for getting a amazon credit card. When you say unbundled how does it come in a brown paper bag?

Anyone need an SPIII?Hey Lynn, does the SPIII have a simple data summary page that shows things like total time traveling, total time stopped, average mph, total distance to go, etc.?

Maybe in this case, but I figure lots of these will be sitting around as people upgrade to newer units.

Besides, you wouldn't put such old, obsolete technology on your shiny new GT, would you? That would be like putting a wooden carriage wheel on a new 7-series BMW.

Guess I owe ya'll an apology! My statement "Anyone need an SPIII?" was hypothetical! I already have two family members fighting over it. Sorry.

OK Joe, since I'm still in your debt over the "cupholder incident" would a couple of CBS's next time we meet at Iron Horse help ease the Pain?

If it's not too late you might want to consider cancelling your order and re-order at the lower price. You'd save yourself another $110.
