Next time you're at the local BMW dealer, check out the latest brochure 'Serious Machines for Serious Riders' that Mrs. Motorrad has released. I'll give you three guesses which model made the front cover!!! http://www.bigbikeworld.com/forum/smileys/smiley14.gif (You won't need all 3!) :D

Don't know where you get your info from. Here in Marin the dealer just got in 5 GT's, 3-presold and the other 2 flew out the door in a week.

They may be flying out the door in Kalifornia, where as we all know, everyone is rich (:rotf: ), but Touring Sport BMW in SC has had several GTs on the showroom floor for several weeks now. For the average guy interested in a fast sport tourer, the GT's price puts it out of reach compared to the competition.

So the LTs are flying out of the showrooms leaving the GoldWings in the dust?! And the GSes are out-selling the V-Stroms now? I have a small feeling ALL of BMW's models are a little slow right now, relatively speaking.

And for the record...I am "the average guy" if there ever was one. :D

You sound like a politician now, Joe, deflecting the criticism rather than addressing it. The GT is expensive; I don't care if other BMW models are also expensive.

No, you're NOT "the average guy". You are strongly the exception rather than the rule. Proof: you bought a BMW.

Phil you obviously don't speak "emoticon" The wink wink and ROTFLMAO means I was KIDDING. I'm the top sales guy at the #1 volume BMW dealer in the US. We've sold more than a few GT's:D I'm glad to hear that my friend Cary in Marin is selling lots of GT's...:bmw:

Oh I can't take credit for that. Do a google search and you'll find TONS of emoticon sites. They're also called smileys.

Don't use too many emoticons, people might confuse you with Joe and that's NOT a good thing:p;):histerica
