Does any one know the Dry weight of the new Goldwings? I have no interest in buying one Honda web site does not list the dry weight. The 2002 LT if I recall correctly is 860. Curious to know.

Don't remember the exact weight, but it's within a few pounds of the LT. The LT, Goldwing, & Venture are all close enough to call the same.

Thanks for the source and feedback!!!
I have to say the other thread re. top box removal made me curious about the mass of these 2 bikes.
I removed my top box for a weigh in and I recorded the weight as 32 whopping pounds.

Then you have the guys that don't like the OEM rack because it doesn't hold enough weight (11lbs.) as well. Unbelievable!!!

I want to be able to take my anvil collection with me on the LT as I travel on the weekends. The side cases and top case are already full, so I need the top rack.
I'd like a few pounds more than 11 to be allowed on the top rack; I'd also like to know which one holds the most. That's in another thread; I'll check it out.

Yes empty except for the paper funnels. My trunk has the top rack , other trunks may weigh a pound or 3 less.

Is it my medication, or is your GT worship signature getting more flamboyant by the post?
... Maybe the crowd of GT worshipers should be flooded with sunshine as the clouds part, and their leader can be raptured up to BMW headquarters. :histerica
