What is the best price people are getting for this, no upgrade coupons or anything......and the source?

Have you called Garmin directly? Their updates used to be $150, but I only paid $75 for version 7 straight from Garmin. Never hurts to ask.

About two months ago I purchased 8 version for $75.00. This was direct from Garmin.

Are you sure that wasn't Metro Guide? Thats $75...the City Navigator is listed at $139.
