If you want to draw stares and start gas station conversations, try this: Buy a tank of gas, three 50# bags of deer corn, and proceed to strap the bags and a Remington 25.06 onto your pillion seat. :D

I went to the Farm store need here. Purchased 4 dozen eggs, 3half gallons of milk (in glass bottles) and 2 50 lb bags of spuds. When I checked out the lady sake didn't you come on that bike? I said yes. She said won't they be hard to handle on the back. I told her easer than having the wife on back. I will behave, an stay sill, my wife moves around.

I have a friend who hauled a 55 gal. drum on the back of a R 60/2, he keep the open end to the shoulder side of the road, had all kinds of look as car passed him. He road at 45 mph on a 55 mph road, just to have people pass him, lots of fun.

My best ones were:
two 50 metre reels of 50 pair cable on the back of an MZ 150.
A stair carpet on the back of a Yamaha 100 through the LOndon peak hopur traffic.
A couple of 12ft pieces of 1 x 2" wood on a Honda C90. Required very careful cornering!!

There's always a way.

I have friend that rebuilds outboard motors, I've seen him more than once haul a V-6 Mercury block to the machine shop 45 miles away on his Honda VTX 1800.

My work is IT support for 'on demand' clients all over town. I routinely haul PCs, monitors, flat panels, printers (upto about an LJ 4000 size), routers, switches and several bags of tools. Almost daily. Often multiples at the same time.

One of the reasons I got my LT. Haulage. Anything to keep work fun.
