Discussed on the previous site but now shipping, the SmartDeck (http://www.griffintechnology.com/products/smartdeck/index.php) offers a cheap connection option for those of us with cassette players on our bikes. No track name display but seems to offer good integration with the bike's controls. No mention of compatibility with the new 5th Generation iPods (http://www.apple.com/ipod/ipod.html) though.

I tried the "monster" tape into my cassette deck of a "Ford". the tape kept on being rejected every 5 seconds.

I don't know if this one is better, I'll have to try it.
