I have been shopping a few days and today found the 2820 at Amazon for $620.99 including shipping. Best deal i have found and considerably cheaper than Amazon's price yesterday.

Could this have anything to do with the rumours that GARMIN are going to introduce an improved version, and therefore a NAV IV, before Spring 07 ?.

Does the 2820 require the GXM 30 antenna for XM? Do you know if that is included in this price? Looking to add GPS/XM to my RT.

I think the GXM 30 antenna is only included with two models, the 2730 and the 376c. For other models it becomes an expensive additional purchase. If you are looking at a reasonable price point for a model including the antenna the online Costco (costco.com) has the 2730 for $599.99 , I think because the 2730 is now considered discontinued.

THANKS FOR THE INPUT! I thought it did come with it but after careful examination of the product data it does NOT. That changes the whole "deal".
