Anyone up for dinner this week? I'm available Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday, though so far it looks like Wednesday has the least chance of rain.

Exact location and date optional.

That sounds like a good idea to me. Any day is fine.

Um, why are you still awake? Don't you have to get up early tomorrow? ;)

Art is an early riser it looks like. http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/icons/icon12.gif

Wednesday looks good for us. Are we going to make a ride outta it? Or something local? "Camp 18" toward the coast on 26, or perhaps Centralia http://www.mcmenamins.com/index.php?loc=42&category=Location%20Homepage is about a far as we can go on a weeknight.

Dinner sounds good and Camp 19 seems like a good target. Kind of far for Ernie but what the heck:D There is another place out that way that I can't remember the name of. It has a big lumberjack out front. I had a burger there once and it was pretty good.

There is always Mo's in Seaside.

I'm game for just about anything.

Camp 18 Looks good to me, plus it's closer and not on I-5. We can do Centralia another time, when the weather is better and maybe some of the WA folks can join us.

I'm flexible on time, so just let me know when people can make it from work.

Bring your rain gear.

I'll give you a call when I we get to Wednesday. Getting through the West sde traffic is the only pinchpoint.

Shall we meet near Hillsboro for the ride out, or just meet at the restaurant? Time?

Ken,

I'll have to call you when I get close to getting off work and make that plan. Meeting at the restaurant is always a possibility. Save some dessert for me.

So, when you figure out time and stuff give me a call. I can meet you at McDonalds on 26 at the Glencoe exit.

Work: 503-532-4764
Home: 503-640-2269

I'm usually at work until 5 or 6 or 7 but will plan on trying to leave early today.

We are leaving from the East side in a few minutes. It looks like the weather will hold out for the most part and we wll be heading back after dinner before the big storm rolls in. Art said to meet at McDonalds on 26 at Glencoe exit. We will shoot to be there by 6:30 (traffic willing). However, we do know the way to Camp 18. http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif

Of course that may be because we didn't make the ride! You will know that by the time you read this anyway, so hope it was a good ride and a great dinner for youse all! I just found out late today that I am hitting the road early tomorrow, so decided to stay home tonight.

On a good note, Brian got the cams back in this evening! So I guess we don't need to cruise back up to Tacoma this weekend after all! Honestly though, I would have been more than willing just because of the responsibility I feel for getting it right after we left it in pieces last weekend.

And here I am feeling guilty for not making it to the dinner tonight. Okay, its probably hunger! Sounds like a really cool place for dinner. Maybe I can have the bike fully ready before Ken leaves.

We had four for dinner: myself, Art, Ernie & Pauline. It was mostly dry but chilly (low 40's) on the way out, and mostly wet, chilly, and foggy on the way back. Camp 18 was pretty neat, and is worth a trip back. The food was quite good, and plentiful enough to provide lunch tomorrow as well. We were the only patrons, and the staff was quite friendly, though still glad to see us off so they could all go home.

This was the second time that I've ridden 26 in the rain. :( I'm gonna have to come back up in the summer and ride the Washington County loop and some of those other fun roads. :)

Thank you Ken and Art for a fun, albiet quirky, with an empty restaurant on a dark, foggy and rainy night. Boy that was dark out there! I'm glad for HID lights. http://www.bmwlt.com/forums/images/icons/icon10.gif I guess I better adjust them down a tad bit.

I was thinkin' Steven King was going to walk out of the back room at any time.

The ride was fun, even with the rain. All those lights on the dark, damp, curvy roads were kind of cool. After we got out of the hills and it stopped raining it almost felt warm. I got dumped on again about 1.5 miles from my house.

And like normal had the bike dried off in about 15 minutes and it looks sparkly again.

Dinner was good and Camp 18 people were so very accommodating. Had a great time and look forward to doing dinner again....where ever.

Thanks all.
