We're a couple weeks into pre-registration, and I wanted to share so stats with you.
We have 141 attendees already signed up.
For the first time since the first CCR, California is NOT in the #1 or #2 slot. Here are the top 5:
TX 30 21%
GA 10 7%
TN 10 7%
OH 08 6%
CA 07 5%
Like last year, the two-up attendance is in the 75% range. In years prior to 2006, it was more like the 66% range.
Champagne is leading the charge by more than 2 to 1 over Canyon Red and Titan Silver.
Attendees from east of the Mississippi is currently 56%. This is the first time during pre-registration the east has been higher than 50%.
As the demographics of this group has changed, the percentage of non-K1200LTs attending has grown. We are now up to 25% non-K1200LTs (17% other BMW, and 7% non-BMW).
Interestingly enough, the computers and browsers our attendees are using is a bit different from the national average.
Mac usage is up to 14% (as opposed to the 6% US market share)
Non-IE browser usage is up to 29% (as opposed to the 14% national average).
And it appears that most of you Windows users have upgraded to XP Home or Pro. No more Windows 98 users, and Windows NT/2000 users are way down.
Pre-registration for those of you who attended CCR 2006 will be open through the end of December. General registration opens in January.
