With tongue planted firmly in cheek, I submit this photo of a "new air bag" system for motorcycles. Looks kinda bulky, but maybe it would work.:rotf:

Looks good should address the low and hi-side issue that the Honda Wing unit doesn't!

Using a higher air pressure could also get you there faster if you fall off the bike.
