Cool, Cindy was waiting for this one. I just get nervous with that many bikes around that don't ride everyday. It's like Sunday afternoon when grandma is driving home from church.

It's certainly going to be "Amateur Hour," which means we need to be extra careful.

There will be plenty of LEOs on hand, and the route is usually secured from casual traffic. Of course, that makes all of the non-participants who have to wait for the multi-mile procession to pass extremely happy :)

And don't forget to add a 40% chance of rain that day to the <insert ominous music here> "Recipe for Disaster" (coming to a theater near you)

Pat and I have done this and while it is quite a sight to see, with the rain and crowd size we will probably pass on it this year.

Last year our CMA chapter helped direct parking in downtown Ft. Worth. It was quite an experience. Talk about amateur hour, you should have seen me in the middle of an intersection, by myself, trying to manage all those bikes and jay walkers wandering the streets! I'm taking a whistle this year!

John, an air horn would be better. With all those loud pipes they won't hear the whistle :histerica

Don't you have to be certified for a whistle? ;)

You're a brave man!

Our CMA chapter president is a retired Ft. Worth detective. He has instructed me on the use of the "command voice", which I have been practicing diligently. I just hope it works as well on the jay walkers as it does on my doggies! :histerica

The wife and I will be there tomorrow morning in Downtown Fort Worth. It is an awesome experience. This is our third one. Just have to remember to be careful because their are a LOT of bikes.
