Intercom Questions

Anyone have knowledge of or experience with an Oxford Bike Mike 3? Saw a super deal on a new unit. I've avoided an intercom due to cost and that without one the wife and I don't get into arguements while on the road.

Can this unit be tied into the radio/CD system? If so how?

I did a Google search, and found this unit in the $100 range. While there may be nothing at all wrong with the unit, I wonder why the commonly accepted units tend to run four to six times the price. Perhaps with the others one is paying for the big name and advertising budget, and perhaps not. Maybe you can get a money-back performance guarantee from your seller, or a credit towards a different unit, just in case.

As to hooking up an audio input into the device, one of the sites I found states:

"A tiny, compact unit with volume control, mute button and personal stereo input."

at 100 bucks what do you have to loose, you should be able to attach to the rear speaker leads just like I did for my Starcom1 and and for the the Autocom.
