Wish me luck, going under the knife for galbladder and hernia surgery tomorrow. Don't have gallstones, but been suffering from this bastage for the last 2 years, and the last Hida test showed it was non functional. Maybe now I will be able to go on a long ride again, it becomes pure misery after more than 2 or 3 hours on a bike.
If I don't post here in the next week or so, my wife will have a nice 03 LT with 15,000 miles for sale..

I just came out of having some out patient done 10 days ago. Missing all that riding and yard work here in New England. Best of luck and you'll be back in the saddle too before you know it......

My wife had the galbladder surgery 6 months ago, should have done it years ago, she feels much better now. Good Luck!

Had it done one year ago after 2 attacks in the same week sent me to the ER... twice. It was a great relief to get rid of the darn thing. No issues and no regrets since.
You'll do great, and you'll be back on the bike before you know it!

BTDT... take time and let your gut heal... or you'll herniate where they cut you again. DAMHIK.

BTDT... take time and let your gut heal... or you'll herniate where they cut you again. DAMHIK.Most surgeries of this type are now arthroscopic (sp?). 3 - 5 small incisisions that are closed up with a bandaid. I did have 3 or 4 stitches, but only because they had to widen the incision in my navel in order to remove the enlarged gallbladder.
