This Saturday (Dec 2nd) the HCMBW riders are meeting for breakfast at the Waterloo Ice House on Burnet road just south of Hwy 183 at 8:00 am. After that we are going to the State Hospital to let the kids look at, set on and play with our BMW's. It would be nice to have a first rate showing of the "Famous LT".Most of the bikes in the club are RT's. So it would give the kids a treat. Thanks and hope to see a good showing.
BTW if it will help I'll buy Jeff's pancakes :histerica

I will do everything in my power to be there. My bike is sick so I'll limp it to the ice house. Clutch is slipping. LS is ordering the parts and trying to fit me in. :bmw:

It's amazing how a simple battery will shut down a bile now days. On my first Harley (back in the early 80's) I could ride to Sturgis with a dead battery and two good friends but not anymore.
See ya Saturday.

Bones: The funny thing is when the battery craped out it turned the flashers on!!! The only way to turn them off was pull the fuse. Randy at Lonestar said that was common when a battery gets below a certain voltage it locks some circuits open and others closed

Hey guys......... Thanks for bringin a lil sunshine to those kiddos. How 'bout setting another trip up in the Spring time. Maybe a few of us "Northerners" from the DFW area could gather up some more bikes and make a run down yer way. Too bad you can't plan a good ride'n day with the weather chang'n every min or so right now.
What ya think?

Yes, it was cut to go with my shirt and tie. I have always had short hair and did not start growing it long until the mid 90's. Then I let it grow long and donate it to Locks Of Love. This is my first bald trip and I am loving it.
