2006 R 1200 RT and Cell Phone

I currently have the BMW CB/Intercom Communicator (Com II PLus) and have been looking for a way to hook up my cell phone much the same way I did with my LT. The GPS, CB, and XM all come through the helmet speakers perfectly.

I called J & M concerning the new Nolan Bluetooth helmet and they were unable to help at all.

Is there anything/anyway I can get a cell phone to work through my helmet? Is the Nolan helmet the answer and if so, how would one go about doing it?

Due to aesthetic reasons, I would like to avoid extra wires that would create clutter.

I am very lucky. My wife is willing for me to travel all over the country (while she works) but the only thing she asks of me is to be able to check on me while on the road as was possible with the LT system.

Does anyone know of a way to accomplish this cell phone dilemma???

The Motorola HF-820 uses the cable you got for plugging in your cell phone to sound system. This unit will mount outside the lid so that you can tap the one button you need to touch to use it.
