 I'm restoring to road worthy an 85 k100 that was in poor not running condition. I unplugged, removed and unfortunetly threw away the anti-theft box. Now, I'm having issues with not getting voltage to the fuel pump. I was wondering if simply removing the anti-theft may be causing this. Or should I just start swapping out the fuel pump relays. Any and all comments will be greatly appreciated.

Hi cycle Guy,
I didn't know there was an anti-theft device on an 85 K100. Where was this box located and are you sure it was for anti-theft. Was this possibly an add-on by a previous owner? If so you may have to trace wiring to see if this device cut power to the fuel pump.

Good luck

2 wires go from the control to the temp sensing unit, which controls the amount of fuel from the pump to the injectors.
one wir goes to the horn relay (Blow horn when being stolen>) and one goes to either #5 or 6 on fuse block.

Only steal bikes you know, then you won't have these problems :rotf:

Thanks Uncle Rock. Due to my inexperience with the K100 I didn't know the fuel pump only runs after the starter button is pressed. I checked it and now I'm getting voltage to the pump.
