Hi,
I have just purchased a 1993 R100LT. There is a new aftermarket windshield designed for a R100 RT on ebay. Could someone please tell me if this would fit my bike? The bloke selling it doesn't know.
Thanks.

As best as I can remember all of the farings on the R100 RT - LT are the same from 1981 thru 1995. The LT is basically an RT with a few extras added, but all the body work is the same.

Go onto a windshield site and check, see if they list the same one for both models?
I grabbed an old manual, then remembered I traded R for K books with a local guy, so I no longer have it.

I had an '86 K100RT with 120K miles on it, then moved up to an '87 K100LT with 12K miles and a few more options. Both had the same basic fairing and windshield mounts.

An R100LT??
Hi first post here and I am dragging up threads from the long distant past. :D
The R100LT was for the Australian market. Its a rebadged RT with Comfort seat and heated handlebar grips that BMW Australia put out. I have a 94 LT. :bmw:
It came fitted with an aftermarket screen. AJ Platics in Queensland is/was the maker. Same size and cut as the standard RT screen.
