The father of a friend I sometimes ride with passed away a few weeks ago. He and his wife had us over to the house last weekend where I was given the humongous printer that his dad had been using!! It was way too much for him, and he thought that a "KEEN" photographer like myself :p would get better use out of it. While it's a GREAT printer.....the cartridges are like $16 and change EACH!! And there's 8 of them!! Last night I got it plugged in and working (on the floor.....I don't have room on the desk..) and printed up some 13 X 19's.... I just love BIG PRINTS!!

Anyway....to get to my problem. Evidently because the cartridges are so bloody expensive, the old gentleman had this bait bucket looking thing attached to the printer with this long belt of tubing that feed out of 9 ink tanks set inside this container. When I'd first seen the set-up, earlier this year, he'd shown me one of the photography magazines that sold this kit. What I'm really hoping for, is that someone here will know what I'm talking about, and can point me in the right direction to contact them (more ink, etc.) I picked up one of the mags this morning but there's nothing in it. Oh yeah...and no name of the outfit on the bait bucket either.

Anybody??

Google for R2100 continuous ink feeder...

Good Luck

Wouldn't have thought of looking for it that way in a million years........I owe you one now!! Thanks for the response and the leads. Now all I have to do is find out if it operates on Pigments or Dyes...........that shouldn't be too hard.
Thanks again.......
