radio unit stoped working

hi to all,two days ago my radio unit stoped working just like that.
the button panel lights up when i press the on button but i have no radio station indication, nor sound nor the cd comes out when i press the exctract button.
is this a common failure? the bike is 2 years old and reads 63k on the clock.
At about 26k the rear disc rotors are worn out and the brake disk sounds like a bell in every bump. at 34k my cruise control stopped working.changed all switches and no result .
now the sound system.
shall i fill a complaint form, sent it to bmw, and then buy a honda goldwing !!!

Try disconnecting your battery for about 30 minutes - this usually resets the radio.

In spring next year, having a ride down to Aisian Turkey (not Istanbul - the traffic is mad) - ride down through Germany, Austria, Italy, down to Brindize. Ferry to Patras, then through Greece to European Turkey. Ferry over the Dardanelles (before Istanbul), then high tail it back to Greece. Bout 1800 miles each way - have you ever been to Aisian Turkey, and could you recomend a good route to Aisian Turkey.

ihave a friend of mine who has travel to asian turkey last year, he is also used asian turkey as middle route for traveling iran syria iordania, so i know a few things recommend to you.
you are doing well for not choosing instanbul ,because the trafic there is awful and the people there are very curious and there is an emminent danger for being robbed.
however as you travelling towards asian turkey and you leaving instanbul behind you
people are more welcome and hospitable, but ypu must always be very careful to the roads as the local people dont have the appropriate manners so that to drive well
Please inform me when exactly you will be in patra so as to meet each other.
As far as the route is concerned please give me aweek so that to ask my friend for more details. moreover i will give you more details about what you must careful for so that to enjoy the route more!!
