I've been pondering why certain items are news worthy, or more poingnently, why they "dominate" the news, or not.
Here is a little "back page" pull from CNN. To CNN's credit, FoxNews.com didn't even have it. Odd, perhaps I'm missing something.
Is it just me, or does THIS (http://www.cnn.com/2006/US/11/16/airport.arrest.ap/index.html) make the point home that the war, the real war, is not just in Iraq?

The media is just too strange for words. The recent O.J. Simpson "news" shows how stupid they are. That is something that should have never had a word uttered about on any news broadcast. Stupid enough that O.J. even contemplated such a dispicable thing to do, much less the media advertising for him. Now he has 3 Million in an offshore bank. If our news media had a modicum of responsibility (the word is not in their vocabulary) they would never have mentioned it in any way.

I've been pondering why certain items are news worthy, or more poingnently, why they "dominate" the news, or not. CNN, FOX, ABC, etc., etc... I think we've all been bamboozled into believing that they actually have different views. They are all ultimately controlled by the same people, IMO. I try not to think about it too much, because it makes me sick. Liberal, Conservative, Democrat, Republican . . . they're all whores.
There! I said it!

According to the article "they found him carrying nearly $79,000 in cash and a laptop computer containing information about nuclear materials and cyanide."
Since when is information a crime... (off to shred some files...) :D
Seems his only "crime" was not declaring the $60K in drug money he was trying to smuggle home!

Better wash all illegal money before transporting. You don't know what it has been used for. Then you will probably be arrested for possession of laundered money:histerica
