I am going to purchase a 2007 K1200LT in the near future. I was wanting to know if there is any way to integrate a cell phone via blue tooth along with the gps, intercom, radio and maybe even CB, all into the headset? Cell phone, radio and GPS are the main items that I want to get into the headset. I understand that I can get a blue tooth helmet that will pick up my cell phone but not the rest. I need help. Don

DonToday, the NAVIII is ready for Bluetooth; but BMW isn't :( BMW's "complete" Bluetooth solution (actually a J&M-engineered solution) is due to hit the dealers this coming spring. Until then, no comprehensive solution :(

Can you tell I'm a bit ticked??? :)

So the audio for the gps will not integrate into the headset?

So the audio for the gps will not integrate into the headset? Two answers: (1) it will now, via the wired headset/intercom; (2) it will someday, when the Bluetooth solution comes out.

OK, so this set is not motorcycle (K1200LT) specific. However, it is available now. I'm referring to the N-COM system developed by Nolan for their newer, N-COM enabled helmets like the N102 (flip-up) and N42 (open face).
Here is a review that someone else posted on Adventure Rider.

You can also do a Google search on 'Nolan N-Com' to find out more.

I have a ZUMO that I guess is the same set up as a Nav 3. The only way that I have found is forget about using the blue tooth on the GPS. I can get the phone linked to the gps, gps to the 820, 820 wired into the phone jack on the comm system. Works fine EXCEPT, the 820is hot all the time when you pplay the GPS MP3 sound quality sucks.
SO, just wire the GPS audio out to the aux on the intercom, pair the 820 to the phone, connect the 820 to the phone jack on the intercom, disable the bluetooth on the gps.

Just a suggestion, we are a vendor of the Cardo Scala Rider FM and teamset. What you could do is pair the Phone with the GPS, that would transmit your calls and GPS directions to your helmet headset.

The FM or intercom would depend on which Scala Rider you had. The Rider FM does FM radio reception, the Scala Teamset does Passenger/Rider intercom. Of course all of this is achieved though the small device attached to your helmet (or 2 helmets with the teamset). Of course this is my solution based on my experience with the products I use and sell/distribute. You can check them out at our website here. Cardo Scala Products with Info,Manuals etc. (http://www.benchmarkhelmets.com/cardo%20scala%20line.html)

I have a 07 LT and to my undrstanding you can use the Nav III to connect all those idems via wired head set right now. The connection on the LT is in the left side of the tank were you connect your head set and in the tank compartment you have the Nav III to connect your electronics, I have mine ready to go for the spring And I am going to my dealer in the weekend for question answer session. Recommend you talk to your dealer with this questions and when blue tooth is avalible can be exchange if you want. :D
Good luck with your purchase and I hope that you will be as exited as I am to get in the road. This winter is driving me loco :histerica

 I have the GPS III which I though would speak through my speaker system. However, appears that BMW did not wire it that way. My razor phone links up to GPS bluetooth ok, however, until I have a headset can't use. My understanding is headset for half face helmet around $450.00 for everthing. Seems high? I have a 07 with VOICE II.

There has been talk about a NAV IV, also based on the Garmin 2820, coming out soon.

Lets hope they have solved this "getting instructions to your helmet" problem, without having to use phones and/or intercoms.
