Our '06 LT is equipped for an intercom. We have a J&M intercom off an '06 Gold Wing and have been told it cannot be converted. Is there a way?

BMW has offered (I think) four different intercom systems for the LT. One of those systems was built by J&M for BMW. I think it was the BC-3 but if you look around on the site (look in FAQs, the Accessories page, the Hall of Wisdom, or run a search) you should find some info. I think that system used J&M headsets, different lower cord or whatever to match the bike. The current BMW intercom was not built by J&M and I don't think it is compatible with J&M headsets.

But take all of this with a grain of salt-I have an Autocom!

The Voice II uses J&M headsets and cords, the lower cord goes to the bike and is a BMW cord. Upper cord comes out of the helmet and plugs into the lower cord. If you have J&M helmets then you would just need the lower cords for the Voice II. Call J&M to see if your old one can be used on the LT, if it is an add on it probably can.
