Is it 2 or 3 years - no one seems to know ??

-just coming up to my 12k service (@ 16months ) not sure about reverse (seems a little hesitant at times), SatNag goes barersk with direct sunlight on the screen , and a little condensation.


To check out reverse properly, the dealer would have to take the tupperware off anyway, so on my 12K service, should I be charged for them stripping the bike down ??

Uk warranty is normally 2years Unlimited mileage. I wouldn't have thought a good dealer would charge you much extra to check it during a major service

To check out reverse properly, the dealer would have to take the tupperware off anyway, so on my 12K service, should I be charged for them stripping the bike down ??The truth is, if the dealer is getting reimbursed for repairing the reverser, and stripping the Tupperware is part of that charge, then the dealer shouldn't charge you anything for stripping the Tupperware during your 12K service. That's the way I'd work the deal with my dealer. YMMV. :)

Perzackfully what I was thinking - service costs (relatively) are not toooooooooo bad here, but it's allways good to get one back on them :cool:

You must be joking to say the maintainance costs are not bad over here . 12K service parts total £55.45.
Labour £312.00

+ tax. total bill £431.75.
12k + annual and brake fluid change

discounted because of slack period in january this year .
If you ,ve got a problem get it sorted by your dealer as they enjoy being paid by bmw . (be a pain in the arse to them and they will sort it )
