This cut out motor was at the bike show in Houston, very interesting. I took about 30 pics at all angles, but grew tired of resizing. I'll email to whoever wants to gander, or better yet, go to the show.
See that shiney, leetle silver thang right above the valve spring? That's the shim under bucket.

Thanks for sharing the pics, Now that you have had access to the whole engine, whats your take on adjusting the valves and changing the spark plugs? I tried taking a few pics of my hid low beam patterns but it was raining and there where lots of puddles so the beam was absorbed in places and deflected in others. Not a very accurate showing of the real pattern, I'll try again when the rain quits, I here its going to stop on July 5th.....

Sorry to be ignorant, but what is the difference from the "old" one ?.The old GT had "the brick" motor in it...just like the LT's motor. 'Cept 30 more ponies.

It's gonna be a beyotch. But, I used to think that with the LT motor.
Yeppir, real interested to see that pattern. I went by Rhinewest Friday and was talking to Hank. He was telling me that a brand new bike's light's will kick butt like stadium lights, but dim after awhile. The plastic on the reflector out gasses or somethink.

That is the same cutaway that BMW shipped us last year to CCR at Jackson Lake. They also sent us a front suspension on a stand. I was hoping that BMW would forget they sent them, though Michelle might not have appreciated the new sculptures for our living room ;)

Ya know, I just wasn't as interested last year as I am this. Don't know why?

When you said new, I thought you meant a newer version of the new GT engine, not the flying brick.
