2610 Default Setting

While using the 2610 I like to set the at 1.2 mile zoom setting. The 2610 will keep this setting while turning the gps on or off. But, If I am using the route function and adjust to 1.2, than make a turn, it will default out to 1/2 the distance to the next turn. So if the next turn is 20 miles, it will zoom out to 10 miles. Is there anyway to have it "default" to 1.2 miles at all times?

Do you have the autozoom option on? If so, you have to turn that off.

Thanks Erin. I will have to check that out when I get home tonight. But, can you tell me under what menu can I find the autozoom settings?

I don't know the exact descriptions in the SP (I have the menu in Dutch ;) )

Should be something like:

<Menu> -> <Map settings> -> Autozoom (with checkbox)

Map tab

You should be able to set it there.
I think it's the bottom option.

Thanks Erin and Ken. I shut off the auto zoom function and tried it out over the weekend. I like it!!
