Jeff's tech session mystery piece

While working on my bike I found out where that mystery piece that was left over at Jeff's tech session goes. CRS, but it might have been off Jeff's bike.
Believe Russ also had it left over when he completed his service at home.

Anyway, picture attached. It goes on the top of the piece of frame that goes over the valve cover.
I am sure it is important because it looks like mine is all worn out :D

We solved that at Grif's while doing John's valves...
Now where did that piece go???

Well, mine fell out of the right side! And I still have it; next time the t-ware is off, I'll check that area by the valve cover (as well as the right side to see if there is a corresponding piece there.)

Russ, it is the same on both sides. I don't know what you call that part, but it is like tubular frame that you attach the tupperware to.
