Jumping Dice with ’05 LT and 8GB Nano

I recently decided to take the plunge, removed the CD changer and installed a Dice and iPod. The playback, the track and playlist controls, as well as the iPod charging all work well. However I am having a problem, the radio will occasionally jump from CD changer mode to FM radio mode, which is really annoying. Pressing the CD button twice puts it back into CD changer mode and iPod playback resumes where it left off. The jumping seems to be totally random, I can not find a common link to what makes it jump.

Has anybody else experienced this and found a solution?

My guess is that it's loosing the signal through the CD changer wires, and so switching to the radio then. I would check all the connections and make sure everything is tight.
