Autocom vs GW Intercom question?

K12 is waiting on parts to do my Clutch Slave. Got a ride planned this weekend, to my rescue, a friend says take my GW (2002 1800). I says I'll take it. How I have a question. Will our Autocom head sets work with the GW Intercom???? Not being much on all this electronic stuff Idon’t want to blow up his GW intercom.

Nope, Autocom has a powered mic. They sell an adapter so you can use their headset on a GW. ( if the autocom is the 5 pin style).
You might be able to listen to radio through the headsets but the mic won't work.

The new autocom headsets are 7 pin, and the adapter also provides power to activate the vox...............on the autocom headsets...
