"First Saturday in December, All roads lead to Eldridge Alabama."

This is our annual benefit run (toy run)... we provide a free lunch, usually stew, Bar BQ, fried chicken, hamburgers and hot dogs and other sandwiches and drinks and coffee... cake and cookies...give me another peanut butter and jelly sandwich. :D

We ask for a volunteer donations, either a gift card or check made out to "Eldridge Children's Home" , all the children are given their own "wish list" of toys/clothes/items..this is provided for by the benefit team.:)

Here is our web site: www.Eldridge-Toy-Run.com (http://www.eldridge-toy-run.com/) for all the detail...we have a forum as well...log on...join in.

Please make plans to attend and support this home which has been in operation since 1948 and accepts only donations...they receive no state or federal monies, therefore...not mandated by those agencies..

Come see the home and campus, the children and where and how your money is used.

Eldridge is located in NW Alabama, just off the new Corridor X I-22.. on State Hwy 13 at the intersection of old Hwy 78..

I am working on a Motel block of rooms for Friday night, with a dinner together on Friday night and breakfast on Saturday morning, the Children’s Home and benefit team will provide the lunch Saturday at noon... attendees should be able to be back on the road by 1:30 PM…we will have a program for the children after 2 PM…with giving of the gifts.

While we cater to organized Blue Knights police and state trooper escorted rides from the Mississippi side (Amory/Columbus/Tupelo) and from the East side (Jasper/Sumiton/Birmingham,Al), from the South (Tuscaloosa/Northport), from the North, Florence/Russellville/Huntsville) we also encourage riders to "just ride in" for the event. Need to be there by 11:30 if you just ride in.
