During the last service about 250 mi. ago I had a tough time reconnecting the inner fuel coupling to the bottom of the tank. So with my gorilla hands and sausage fingers I kinda forced it to snap in. All was well till a few days ago I smelled fuel when coming to a stop. Pulled off the side panel today figuring it was just a botched up O-ring. Went to dealer and grabbed two new o-rings and replaced the one that seemed to be leaking. No dice, found a crack on the male portion of the quick disconnect. While the engine was running the crack was spewing out a fine mist of fuel just waiting for a spark.....Don't force these fittings. If they are lined up good it should just slide together.....
