Howdy all you Nor Cal folks! I hope you enjoy the new site. Be sure to cruise around and check out the features and fun stuff you can do and use. I highly recomemnd the full WYSISYG editor you can select in your user profile so you can play with all the fonts, colors, smilies,:p etc.

Because of security concerns, you can no longer link to an external file - for sig/avatar issues please upload a file (hint: go back to old site via archives and download it if you need to).
Also - I know the interface is entirely different - IMO, the easiest way to "get comfortable" is navigating w/ the "Quick Links" menu. HTH!

OK, I see a steep learning curve ahead! ;)
I've found a few cool new features but I don't see the one that allows me to subscribe to some forums. Anyone else find it yet?
Cheers!

Hey Bob,
Drill down into into Forum, up on the right there will be a link called "Forum Tools" - there you will find the "Subscribe to this Forum" link. I'll be testing that out shortly :).

Bob,
You seem to be a pretty intelligent guy, I don't think it will take you that long.
I haven't found a way to subscribe to forums, but you can subscribe to threads in a forum. Maybe there's more too it, but I haven't found it all yet either.
Cheers

Hey Dave Taylor,
Now this is funny - I was reading Tom C's post about his computer faulting to "limp home" mode and it said below it that your post was "similar" - I guess it keyed on the word "home". Otherwise, yours bears no resemblance to Tom's. Sort of a dumb association algorithm I'd say. Anyway, long time no see. How the heck are things in Silly Cone Valley?

Hi Dave! It's as silly as always here. :) You keepin' all them Texas folk in line? BTW, we may do a ride to Cambria this spring; want to come out and tag along? I know how much you enjoy hanging out at Camozzi's. :D

Hey, Camozzi's sounds great! Keep me posted on the details. My daughter is in L.A. now - another reason to ride to Shaky Land.

Dave, my wife has it all worked out. I've been to LA twice this year on business and saw the grandson both times. She's jealous. Cambria is a go for us - I'll ride, she'll fly to LA, we'll see the kid, then cruise up the coast and meet the NorCal bunch. Let us know the date!
