it appeals to me as it does not take up a lot of space. They are based in Tamworth so you could call them. I would be interested to knoww as if you are going to work on the clutch then the exhast and foot pegs come off so where do you attach?

Do these types of lifts work for a K1200LT?? I am new to this bike and was told that since the engine is part of the frame and there is not an actual fram that goes under the bike, the only type of lift that is appropraite for this bike is what I call a platform lift, similar to the Harbor Freight lift spoken of elsewhere. Is this true?? Could I use a lift similar to the Pit Bull lift??

seems like someone from Scotland posted several pictures on the "old site" with a silver/champagne LT this lift .

They have a custom mount that has to be special ordered from the factory for about $210. It is not listed on the order page. This supports the bike from the front of the engine and from frame members that are behind the engine. The part that attaches behind the engine can also be used with a front wheel mount for better access to the engine.

I just ordered a Big Blue with these two mounting options as well as a beam mount for my Heritage Softail. I also ordered the Grab which is needed unless you have some other way to hold the bike upright so you can position the lift and raise the bike. There is currently a sale at Secure Stands that reduces the prices by about 10%. When they quoted me for my setup they showed all the sale prices then knocked another 10% for some reason but I am certainly not complaining about it ;). My total price was $1270 including shipping.
