Just a couple of pics in case anyone else is thinking of mounting the controller for heated clothing. I attached my controller to the underside of the GPS bracket I made. I was having some issues with the plug for the Gerbing clothing as I didn't want it just sticking out. It suddenly dawned on me and I wired the output to a standard BMW power socket and stuck it in next to the factory one. Now I can easily adjust the temp while riding and don't need to leave a cord sticking out anywhere when I get off. Also, I can use any kind of heated clothing I want as long as it has a standard power plug.
