FYi.. for those looking for a "less creative" solution.... The guys over at Legal Speeding @ http://www.legalspeeding.com/ (http://www.legalspeeding.com/) offer plastic, water-proof, form-fitting radar detector covers for only $25.

We tested the Passport version a while back and it was very cool...I think the V1 version is available now.. not sure..

If I had any plans to ride in the rain on a regular basis.. this is what I'd use.. Hope this helps..

On our way back from Canada, Labor day, a buddy of mine left the top of his on the side of the road on I-59. The thing needs a little help staying together at speed. He had put it together the way described in the manual and it still flew off.
Never did find it.
