Well after giving the Voice II a 18 month try it's going bye bye. I have had 3 Voice II's in the bike and after this one went south on my last trip I told BMW I wanted my money back or I would get a lawyer and we would go the Lemon Law route. BMW told me they would give me the the dealer cost back and I told them to shove it, so they called back and offered me the retail cost plus tax, so I said yes. Now I have to take it in and they will remove the system. I now have to decide what will be put in it's place. I am leaning towards the Behr LT version. I am told it is a plug and play made for the LT. Any out there with this and are you happy?

Yes...we are here and we are happy! I love it and have had no problems. Plug and play. All inclusive. Works as advertised.
Happy riding and happy "intercomming?"

I'll third that motion.
I only have the GPS and Stereo inputs on-line, so I'm not using all the jacks, but I'm very happy with it. I almost bought the BMW VOICE II unit to install myself but I thought the better of it.

I have Baehr's K1200LT-specific unit and by golly if I can install it you KNOW it's plug and play. Serious. Five-minute install, if you bother to read the directions first.
I added FRS/GMRS and a PTT switch to it then integrated the cell phone, leaving 1 input unused. Fool-proof.
I have had a couple of problems with it but Baehr USA/National Cycle/Raffy all stand behind their product. In fact, just this past Saturday I caught Carl Reaver (Baehr USA's knowledgeable intercom guy) at BMW MC of Cleveland and described the odd/inconsistent intercom problem we have some times when both helmets are plugged in on longer trips. He gave us a new cable to try and will replace the entire unit if he has to. Some time when I have the time I'll post this problem and seek advice.
