Haven't had any success finding info on this site (although I am new - maybe I'm not searching correctly!) nor on the internet, nor through my dealer.

Can you point me in the direction to obtain the cable fro my Verizon phone that plugs into the communication unit of my 2006 K1200LT? It would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

I suspect that you will find there is no cord - my Razr uses bluetooth nad has no external plugs other than the charger. Maybe yours is different but I had no difficulty getting the phone to talk to my 2820. Now getting the 2820 to talk thru the BMW bike connections - different story!

Autocom makes an interface cable for the RAZR/SLVR/PEBL. I gave up using cell phone while I ride, so I gave it to Randy Prade to use. I don't know if he's done anything with it yet.

Not sure it would work with the VOICE II. It is a simple 3.5mm stereo plug (not a three pole plug).

The port of the side of my Razr phone is both a charger and data link. It can be used for both. But it's interesting what you're saying about the connectivity with the GPS - I'm obtaining a Garmin III on Saturday.

Perhaps the dealership can enlighten me further.

Thanks!

Actually, the input to my BMW communications system requires a 2.5mm plug - I have this already but couldn't find the 2.5mm plug to plug needed to make it work.

Thanks for the time to reply!

Lenny:
The handsfree cord has a jack on the end - my comm system requires a plug.

Thanks just the same for taking the time to respond!

You can go to RadioShack and get a 3.5mm to 2.5mm

If your intercom, headset or what ever has a 2.5mm cord it will work.

Razors do not ring through the headset so you have to put the phone on auto answer and hopefully the person on the other end will say hello before you start cussing at a cage that cut you off.

On a Baehr system only the driver can speak the pillion can hear the conversation, but can not speak.

Rick:

Thanks, once again, but the plug you're recommending has a "female" end: I require a "male" end to be plugged into the female jack communications unit. Perhaps yours is configured slightly different from mine.

Thanks for the follow-up!

By the way, could you let me know where you obtained the bar on your email that indicates the weather and location city? I think it's pretty cool.

Gary - sent you a PM on your question about the temp/location bar.

Just use a double male extension cord. Several dollars at radio shack.

Normally you would never have a male on the end as this could short out so you will most likely not find an adapter configured that way.

Lenny:

Yes, there was. I have 'half' the jack already! Cliff's BMW is attempting to order it for me as well.
