Anybody planning on attending Biketoberfest in Daytona, FL this year? I had to miss it last year, thanks to lovely hurricane Wilma, bu this year seems like a go. Hope to see some of you there.

I'm headed down from Cincy for thurs & fri, stopping in Asheville area on way down. I have a room reserved just in case. Any ideas on camp spots?

I am traveling with 3 other Tn Air National Guard buddies, 2 of us on LTs, arriving this Sunday - a few days early - we like the "quiet!"

Joe or anyone planning or know of a good (100mi +) ride that you recommend? We already have the picture "Southernmost point" Key West and the "Loop" around Daytona.

Anyone know the location around Daytona where our sport bike buddies do the stunts?

If we don't do some good rides we will be stuck eating rock shrimp at the Dixie Crossroads every day - not too bad..

John, the best riding is going to be west of Daytona, toward Mt. Dora and Howie in the Hills or if you like the ocean, A1A up to St. Augustine.
Sport bike stunts have in the past been at Daytona Fun Machines (dealer) on US1 in Holly Hill.
The new happening place for the HD crowd and others is Destination Daytona (new Harley shop, eateries, drinkeries) which is located north of Daytona at the intersection of US1 & I-95.

Destination is impressive a lot of vendors and the custom crowd

found some guys doing stunts in a vacant parking lot across from Lollipops in Daytona. Found out that the stunt crowd had an event west of Orlando the previous weekend

Pop's was pretty darn good (best "stunt" show), better than any of the Main street scenery. We limited our visit to one due to budget constraints!

During Bike Week the sport bike crowd performs behind the Days Inn out by the Race track, corner of I95 and Int Speedway Blvd.
