I'm getting things together for a winter project, planning on putting in a set of Ohlins.
I found these on eBay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Ohlins-Shocks-BMW-K1200LT-Front-and-Rear-NEW-In-the-Box_W0QQitemZ280034738446QQihZ018QQcategoryZ35615QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
Is this the buy it now price of $1,199 reasonable?
Kyle Racing seems to be the business listing these Ohlins.
Anyone have any experience with this outfit? Their feedback rating looks okay.

While ohlins are fine shocks .... IMHO, Wilbers are the tricker shocks.

I think sanjaun2 bought his from Kyle back in early summer. I bought mine for $100 more from onlineparts, but didn't pay sales tax so basically a wash...
onlineparts knows about this board, so perhaps they'd match or beat the price - they were great to work with.

I also purchased my Ohlins from Andy at http://www.onlineparts.com/search_results.asp?vhlMake=9&vhlModel=125¬hing= He knows how to set them up for you, no sales tax, great service.

I did buy from Kyle and was pleased with them, I did have to pay a little extra for shipping because he had to have them shipped from another dealer, I originally paid another outfit $1400 plus shipping but had to cancel because after a month they never showed. Thats a real good price and since they are in stock I would jump on it!

I emailed both Wilbers and Ohlins. Each answered me but Wilburs seemed to be shocks custom built to my specs, as far as weight and such.
Price looked similar on both. given the choice, I'd probably go Wilburs.

Just bought one of the pair on eBay from Kyle. They've already been shipped with the proper springs and initial settings. I've spoken to them as well and thus far, I'm very pleased. If that should change upon receiving them or mounting them, I'll post.

Recommend Andy at On-Line Parts. Seems the price was about what you're talking and he will set the spring rates to match you're load an style.

I'm going to throw another shock into the mix. Ron Kellebenz pointed these out to me a couple of months ago. I have not purchased them yet, therefore I do not have a comment about them yet.
