All,
I am heading to Germany on a business trip next Wednesday and would like to get on a bike while I am there if at all possible.
I will be in Stuttgart, Dressler/Stolberg, Munich, and Filderstadt. I will have one weekend free in the Munich area.
Anybody know of a good motorcycle rental service in the area of Munich?
I will have someone with me who speaks German once I am there.
Thanks
Tim

Enjoy your trip to Germany. I was in Munich last week and stopped by the new BMW (huge) store (BMW Motorrad) located off the Frankfurter Ring (I think the address is 23 Frankfurter Ring). The store is beautiful (however, the store did not have a single new LT). The store has daily and weekend rentals of all BMW models. I sat on an LT rental in the storage area of the store. Unfortunately, I have the info at work and I'm home. The managers speak excellent English. The daily rental of an LT was about 225 Euro/day for 500 kilometers or 450 Euro for a three day weekend (Leave at 7am on Friday return on Monday morning with a 1000 kilometer limit). I did not ask what the extra mileage fee was. I have all the prices at work, including the address. If you give me your fax number, on Monday I will fax it to you. They were friendly. Rentals end at the end of October due to weather issues. Let me know is you need more information. Best regards, Keith

Hi,
I was i the same store 2 years ago, and bought some bkie gear. the trousers cost me about £100.00 less at the store than they would have in the UK, so it was a good deal.
Can't help with rental, but I guess thats already been answered. There are some great roads to the south, get yourself down to the Tergensee area. I know a few places for over nights in Tergensee, and the locals can point you to some toll roads which are a joy to ride.
