New Buyer has questions

I am looking at buying a new K1200LT from a dealer this weekend, 9/22/06. My question is how much room does the dealer having on the price? Can I expect to get 5%, 10%, etc off the list price?

I purchased an 06 LT at CC BMW Metuchen, NJ.
I believe the MSRP with a soft touch seat was $21,799. I paid $20,000 plus tax and registration.

One year ago this month I bought my '05 LT. It was one of 2 '05s he had left, and both were marked down $1500 off MSRP before I ever go there.

I paid 18K for a new LT out the door...all depends on what year you are planning on buying. Find an 05 if you can....nothing changed (except colors) in the next two model years.

Not quite true. HID became an option in '06, and later built '06 bikes had the VOICE II intercom added in free.
