Which lubricant is recommended for the final drive on a K-bike?

I like the amsoil 75-140 synthetic gear oil. The BMW sythetic gear oil is good stuff also but i think its about 18-19 bucks a quart.

I use Mobil 1 75w90 full synthetic about $9.00 at Autozone 1 qt. will do both trans and rear drive with a few oz's lift over :D

I use Redline Shockproof Heavy synthetic. I've used it in both the the RT and LT.

You must have a cheaper dealer than me! Unless it went up that much in the last 2 years. I just bought a qt about six months ago and it was almost 17 bucks plus tax. They say it is shock proof, But it wasn't. I was definetly shocked. It sure did smooth out my tranny though. Their synthetic engine oil was in the 8-10 range though.

Heh Brian, you're not too far off... I pay $16.00 + tax here in Michigan for a quart. It works well BUT, I can't find (or feel) a difference using Mobil1.
