We are planning to take one of the Edelweiss Europe Trips next spring/summer.

We like the idea of the Touring Centers where you stay at one hotel for the week.

There are 3 main tours- Southern Italy, Alps [Inisbrook & etc.], and Dolomites.

Since we have never been there, I would like some input from others on what to expect and which tour might be best.

I know the Alps will be many mountian roads and the Southern Italy will be more flat. We ride NC mountains often and enjoy it. We also like the idea of southern Italy.

Any suggestions?

Thanks.

Leaving for Tuscany tomorrow with http://www.mototouring.com/englishindex.htm
I'll let you know how the Riding Center Resort works.
Spring of '05 I did the perfect Pyrenees with Iberian Moto Tours. It was a blast. Some technical riding, but I had'nt been on a bike for almost 20 years and learned a ton!
Found the Holy Grail as well.

I went to southern italy with edelweiss in May of this year. I really enjoyed the touring center i kind of liked the idea of not having to pack and unpack everyday. The tour guide we had was Great! What i liked best about southern italy was there was very little traffic. Southern italy is not flat its more like southern california . If you do go to southern italy make sure that you do not skip the (Tortufo) italian icecreame
