Well...I just bought the 2006 blue/white color k1200s off the showroom floor....I've been eyeballing it for a couple months now.

finish the finances on friday, off to D.C. for a week, it'll be ready/prepped by the following saturday.

Now somebody needs to buy my FZ1 so I don't have to store it for the winter. Besides, now I own 3 bikes and no cage, haven't drivin a cage but once since last april :)

and thats just how I'd like to keep it.

Simon, you may want to complete your profile with a location and place an ad for the bike for sale in the Classified. There a lot of multi-bike owners her on the forum.

Gee, I had a profile...don't know what happened to it! I punched some stuff in there for reference.

Congrats on the new bike. The KS is one awesome bike. If we didn't ride 2 up so much, or I had enough money and wife patience for 2 bikes, one would be in my garage.

thanks...I am a lucky guy tarheel and I would not be getting this S if I didn't need it. I'm lucky because I get paid to ride to work when I have to go on biz travel. I won't fly unless its an emergency.

I go sign for the S this morning. I'm also having some kind of clear plastic coating put on the whole bike since it will be going thru the desert a lot. They'll prep/finish it while I'm on travel next week.

Haven't even ridden it yet but I'll do a report once i get a few miles on it.

The bike fits me like a glove, thats what I like most about it. My back likes a little lean forward rather than the upright LT position, although I'm ok with that too. I sat on the GT when they had it at the dealer awhile ago, I didn't like the riding position much...and honestly, I think the GT is fugly!! :)
