OK, it's been out now for a while, I read the 10-11 page post, but what is the verdict, is it worth selling my ice>Link to get the Dice? So far the ice>Link has worked but not well enough to be used regularly, and the controls are very confusing, does the Dice improve that at all? :bmw:

after 60 hours of riding with the dice and a 5th Generation video ipod <that are now selling for cheap for the 60 gig ( i think 299 through apple refurb and cheaper due to new 80gig)> I have not had any issues except that the pause in the beginningof each song in Shuffle mode. Simple little fix is to allow turn off the ipod switches. Easy as heck to change the dip switches! You do not get the song names but just the track names on cd1. I love it! I am not sure about the previous Ice-link. I would say though they need to rubber gasket around their connections, would be nice!
On a side note.......
Hell I even made a presentation of the k1200 PDF manual, so I can play them out if ever needed and go read the manual on the TV! Of course you can also put your Tech videos on the ipod as well, or put on other TSB's as well.
I am POSSIBLY working with a company that has a fm transmitter passthrough that has a recevier that shows you the songs and the next song as well. Water resistant and has a lifetime warranty. battery life is like 2 years or something (for the receiver). They said they would be interested in making mounts for the receiver on the k1200lt. This way you can protect\hide your ipod and allow to see the songs. I suggested to them it would be nice if they had a shuffle hot key so that way if you want to go back to sufffle you can. I am waiting to evaluate this product and get the group a discount.
