I just got done talking to the folks at ABT. The reason I called them is they have a product I was most interested in called the iJet Two-Way Remote for iPod.Actualy device (http://www.abtech2.com/index.html). What makes this interesting and feasible for my application is that it has a pass through that would allow for the icelink\Dice controller to plug seamlessly into the controller then into the IPOD. This would allow for a couple of things. You could switch the DICE to simple mode (which prevents the text from showing up on the radio) to alleviate the pause at the beginning of the song. It would also allow for you to see (via the two-way remote display) what song you are playing. Since this unit is water resistant, and I was told would hold up to the outdoor elements.
Since I want to have the Ipod in a closed location (either R_Saddle bag or Topcase) this will assist in such a manner.
You can have up to 5 remotes so I think My wife will have one in the back either on the Backrest or the armrest.

I am trying to work out a group buy at the moment. I understand that this is a new product, and application specific, but I thought I would just fill anyone that is interested in.
Take care
Ian

This looks pretty good, is there a way to power the i-pod once this is plugged in the bottom?

I'm the proud owner of three of the older iJet remotes/receivers. I use one on my GT, with the remote on my left handlebar so I can control the volume and track changes. I used to use one on my LT in conjunction with the older ice>Link...mostly for simply pausing the iPod. I have yet to have a remote fail on me due to moisture or getting wet.

...is there a way to power the i-pod once this is plugged in the bottom?According to their website, charging with the iceLink/DICE will still work.
