A little over 5700 miles, 0 performance awards, lots of states, 1 Dragon, 1 sore butt! All of the miles were 3 days there and 3 days back except 350 to ride the Dragon.
The Trailer crew was a couple of hours behind me and should be in soon.
More of the tail and pictures after some rest.

Welcome back John. I'm impressed with your six days of hovering around 900 miles daily. I'll be going next year for sure. Kinda makes the next CCR a cakewalk for you, doesn't it?:D

John, glad the ride went great and you're home safe! Us West Coasters got to watch out for one another ya know.

Next year should be a good one as well, just not as far eh? We're sure looking forward to seeing the whole "CCR Family" again.

I was really amazed at the entrance to the Chateau Elan and was not disappointed in any way with the facilities. They even had three CCR vintage wines made and labeled for us.

It was warm and wet but I loved the 350 mile loop. :p I took Hwy 11 and then 28 from the South Carolina Boarder through North Carolina to Deals Gap. Hwy 28 is just as nice as Hwy 129 through the Dragon. I found the waterfall along Hwy 28 in NC.

I love to ride and a great event/venue is a fantastic reason for the journey. But the reason I go back to CCR every year is the people from near and far.

The trip home was 2600 mile blur. Just a few pictures to record the journey home. I found Tennessee, Kentucky, then St Louis and the slat flats before I knew it I was home.
We won't talk about the Labor Day traffic over Donner Summit but I was too tired to even get aggravated.

And we really missed the annual "Family" reunion, but won't next year! And Tks for taking the time to post the pics John. It helps alleviate some of the regrets we hove for not being there in person. But just a little! Next Year!!
