BMW (or at least non-HD) rentals Near LAX...Help requested

I train law enforcement officers for a living, will be spending three weeks this fall, one week at a time, at the LAPD academy, just a few miles from LAX airport. One of my dreams has always been to ride the Cali coastline, so on one of those trips I'm coming in a few days early, with hopes to rent a motor and enjoy the highway to be able to say I've done it.

I've tried the 'net, and been unable to come up with much, thought maybe my friends on here might be of better assistance. There are a couple Harley dealerships that would work, if I want an electraglide or similar, but an LT (or better yet, a k1200S or GT...) or maybe even a Yamaha FJR or Honda ST would be a much more fun weekend steed.

Tips?

I remember reading in another thread that Long Beach BMW rents bikes. They are closed today, but you can try them tomorrow.
