Here's a link to a local story I saw a couple days ago. Guy has plans of riding 32,000 miles in 30 days. I'm not an LD rider, by any means, but have done a 750 mile day and that was about all I could manage. Much less 30 of them in a row. Where the heck would you go?

If that link doesn't work, goto the wxii site and search "Folwell"

I wish him luck, but the skeptic/cynic part of me says NO WAY.

That's going to be a tough month.

No way I could stay awake enough to do that.

There are two people who have done 30K in 30 days on the IBA ride finishers list. I did 10K in 10 days, and I believe I could do 20, but don't believe my body would stand for 30 days without a full day rest in there somewhere. One could do that though if you do about 11-1200 miles a day and build up time to stop for a day to re-juvenate then start again, doing that twice. If the goal is actually 1,000 miles EVERY day, then that would be very difficult.

If I was 22 years old again it would be no problem. At 42 it would be dangerous.
